Today, that mission has a familiar face.
Our good friend, Brad Glumac, is courageously battling Glioblastoma, one of the most aggressive and devastating forms of brain cancer. Brad’s strength and determination have inspired everyone who knows him, but his journey is also a powerful reminder of why our work is so important.
This is why we do this.
For a decade, our community has helped fund groundbreaking cancer research through the Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, benefiting The James. Together, we have contributed more than $1,475,000 toward the fight against cancer. Today, we’re reminded that every dollar raised represents hope—not just for the future, but for friends like Brad who are fighting today.
While remarkable progress has been made in cancer research, there is still so much work to be done—especially for Glioblastoma. More research means more hope for Brad, for future patients, and for every family whose lives are forever changed by a cancer diagnosis.
